So, I stumbled upon some photos of this place called the New York Institute of Technology. At first, I thought it was some kind of fancy science lab or something, but turns out it’s just another fancy schmancy college.

New York Institute of Technology – Tuition, Rankings, Majors, Alumni

This picture of NYIT is a real eye-catcher. I mean, look at it! The building looks like it could easily house a cool superhero hideout or a secret spy agency. But alas, it’s just an institute of technology.

Speaking of NYIT, did you know it’s a private non-profit research university? Yeah, I had no idea what that meant either. Basically, it’s a fancy way of saying they do research and stuff, and they don’t make any money off it (which is kind of a bummer, if you ask me).

But let’s talk about tuition. I’m sure all you college kids out there are cringing at the thought of it. Well, hold onto your seats, because NYIT’s tuition is a whopping $38,800 per year. Yikes. But hey, at least you know you’re getting a top-notch technological education.

This next picture of NYIT is more subdued, but still pretty impressive. It’s got a really cool futuristic vibe to it, like something out of a sci-fi movie.

So, what kind of majors does NYIT offer? Well, the list is pretty extensive, but I’ll give you a few highlights. They have programs in architecture, computer science, graphic design, and even nursing. I don’t know about you, but I never thought technology and nursing would go hand in hand, but apparently, they do at NYIT.

And if you’re curious about alumni, NYIT has produced some pretty successful people. We’re talking CEOs, politicians, and even a famous NFL quarterback. Who knew a technological institute could be so versatile?

This last picture of NYIT may not be as majestic as the others, but it’s still worth talking about. It’s a photo of a bunch of people holding certificates, and if you look closely, you can see that some of them are smiling (probably because they’re happy to be done with college).

So, what’s the deal with these certificates? Well, they’re for the Spring 2018 Presidential Honor List recipients. Basically, it means these students had a really good GPA for the semester and got some recognition for it. Hey, it may not be as impressive as curing cancer or landing on the moon, but it’s still pretty cool, right?

Abstract

All joking aside, NYIT seems like a pretty impressive institute of technology. With their extensive majors list, successful alumni, and impressive buildings, it’s definitely a college worth considering if you’re looking for a technological education.

Introduction

When I first saw pictures of NYIT, I was pleasantly surprised. The buildings looked like they belonged in a futuristic world, but it turned out to be just another fancy college. In this post, I’ll be discussing some of the impressive things about NYIT, including their majors, alumni, and tuition.

Content

Majors

One of the things that stood out to me about NYIT were the variety of majors they offered. I’m used to universities focusing on one or two things, but NYIT has a laundry list of majors to choose from. Some of the standout programs include architecture, computer science, graphic design, nursing, and even communication arts. Pretty impressive stuff if you ask me.

Alumni

So, who are some of NYIT’s successful alumni? Well, for starters, the university boasts a pretty impressive list of CEO’s. Some of the notable names include Richard P. Clark, who serves as Chairman and CEO of Brookdale Senior Living, and Tony Santilli, who is the CEO of ACI Worldwide.

But it’s not all business tycoons. NYIT also has produced some famous names in the entertainment industry. Emmy Award-winning director, Jeff Bleckner, and actor Michael Carbonaro (who has his own show on truTV) are both graduates of NYIT.

And let’s not forget about the athletes. Former NFL quarterback, Jon Kitna, and NBA referee, Ed Malloy, both attended NYIT. It just goes to show that a technological education can lead to success in any field.

Tuition

Okay, let’s talk about the elephant in the room – tuition. As I mentioned earlier, NYIT’s tuition is $38,800 per year. But is it worth it? Well, that’s up for debate. On one hand, you’re getting a top-notch technological education from a reputable university. On the other hand, you’re going to be in debt for a long time. It’s really up to the individual to decide whether or not the cost is worth the reward.

Conclusion

Overall, NYIT is an impressive institute of technology. With their variety of majors, successful alumni, and impressive buildings, it’s definitely a university worth considering. Just make sure you have a healthy savings account before enrolling.
